Washdown / CIP Systems
Effective cleaning and hygiene are essential in any production environment. Centralised washdown systems (often referred to as CIP systems) make commercial and industrial cleaning more efficient, by feeding outlet points – which can be positioned just where they’re needed – from a central pressure washing system. This removes the need to move cleaning equipment from place to place and enables multiple users to carry out their pressure washing tasks from the same system.
Modular Pressure Automatic Washdown System
B&G’s MPA Cleaning System is a washdown system providing the correct amount of water at the correct pressure for every cleaning task, anywhere on your premises. Outlet points can be positioned where you need them. Simply select the appropriate spray lance, and the appropriate cleaning chemical or foam.
Spray lances can be colour coded to a specific cleaning task or hygiene area and with the VARIFLO spray lance the operator can adjust the flow and pressure to suit the task in hand.
The multi-pump unit also provides flexibility and energy efficiency, for example where they may be only one or two operators for most of the working day, but more operators using the system simultaneously for intense cleaning at the end of a shift.

CIP Systems
B&G’s cleaning systems can be used for CIP cleaning assemblies – often used in industries such as Food, Pharmaceuticals, Dairy and Brewing etc. Please talk to our CIP system experts for more information.
Other Washdown Systems
Single wall mounted or static pressure washers can also be used to provide pressurised water via a ring main system to various points around a factory, typically for use by 1 or 2 operators at any one time.
Centralised Cleaning with Chemicals and Sanitisers
All of our central pressure systems can be used to apply foam chemicals and sanitisers. We have a number of options, ranging from a single foam venturi to a central chemical distribution system whereby the chemical is pumped to satellite dispensers installed in the factory. At these wash stations the foam and sanitiser can be selected and applied using the appropriate lance.
We have a number of accessories available such as floor cleaning attachments, high level cleaning lances, short variable pressure lances, tank cleaning nozzles, as well as the ability to design special nozzles for difficult cleaning tasks.
Types of Centralised Washdown / CIP Systems
B&G’s washdown equipment includes both low pressure systems, medium pressure systems and high pressure systems. A combination of pressures can be accommodated by one pumping unit.
The correct cleaning pressure for each cleaning task can be determined by using our free factory survey. This will ensure that you get the most energy efficient, cost effective, cleaning system for your application, be it food factory cleaning, a dairy washdown system or other form of production cleaning.
